Lock down efficiency
Minimize tampering in busy common areas. Use built-in locks on the paper trays and a sealed bypass tray to reduce paper theft and prevent users from jamming the device with non-standard paper stocks. Opt for an optional fixed bracket to mount an ID card reader and/or keyboard directly to the device to hide exposed cables and thwart users from bypassing authentication.
Make learning more manageable
In one automated step, you can scan black-and-white and color notes, transcripts and presentations directly from the MP 3555SP TE to your choice of cloud-enabled applications. This includes popular learning management systems (LMS) such as Blackboard® Learn* or Canvas®. Students and instructors can access the files from any web-enabled device whenever they want.

Keep information on hand
Download the Smart Device Connector app to your smartphone or tablet and capture files from cloud applications and print them at the device via AirPrint® before heading to class. Or send scanned documents from the MFP to your personal device and take them with you digitally. Simply use the Near Field Communication (NFC) tag, QR code or Bluetooth (BLE) to pair your mobile device to the MFP.
Encourage responsible printing
With User Authentication, you can track who's using the MFP and have them help pay for it. Use optional tracking software, such as PaperCut™ MF, Pharos® and Equitrac®, to capture critical usage data and student billing information for accurate chargebacks. Schedule reports to be sent automatically to administrators for faster billing cycles.
